Blog moved, Dornenreich Trailer for the upcoming “Nachtreisen” DVD / Tour

Today I was just working on a lot of mailorder stuff and getting this blog running again after I moved it from wordpress.com to our own domain. I want to customize it more and more in the future (as previously done with the METAL NIGHTS page where you almost cannot see the original theme / plugins anymore). And of course I had to work in my usual job as well.

I also added a new feature to the blog. You can now send me your tracks via soundcloud for a prompt and very honest review which also means promotion for your bands as it is published on these sites. Check out the “Send me your track” link at the right. I guess this feature will become more important in the future…

But now to something different. My friends from DORNENREICH have posted a new Trailer for their upcoming DVD “Nachtreisen” which is also promoted with a new tour. And the date in Stuttgart – surprise, surprise – is was also booked by me and will be organized by the Metal Nights team. I will be really looking forward to this one as mentioned in my previous post.

Daily update

I was working on the METALLIC NOISE FESTIVAL pictures today – still have almost 600 pictures to check, correct and sort / select. I am listening to a song from the new UNDERTOW album at the moment which is entitled “Smoke Garden”. It just ended – have to play it again (although the next shuffeld track “Beyond Dreaming” contains the same kind of yearning – but different voice of a singer who I cannot reveal, yet)! Yes, this album is really better than expected.

Today there were a lot people visiting this blog and reading the COLTSUCKERS report which makes me really happy. Had to talk to some people about it today. Anyway there is loads of working waiting for me at the moment as CHEENO are in the studio and recording the successor of “The Next Step Will Be The Hardest”. Hope it will not be that hard. Also AGRYPNIE have finished their studio work for “16[485]” (in the same studio as CHEENO) and are now working on the cover artwork.

Besides, there are still the concerts coming this month (September), the festival time is over, now it is up to us to organize some decent shows. One of our crew members is on tour and (very funny) will be playing the first show we will put up as session guitarist for AHAB. He is also playing the guitar in my “second” band The Exorial. Will be fun to see him on stage with a different band that time. Have to replay the UNDERTOW song again ;o) And will go to sleep with the last tones of it now.
